GENERAL MANAGERS

Simon joined Hubbard February 2007.  While he began at 32nd St, his time at Hubbard is now spent at our Peoria location as General Manager. 

He was born and raised in Phoenix and swam competitively from the age of six through high school. His family includes his beautiful wife, Lizzie, their two dogs, Wynona & Alice, his parents and sisters.

Simon enjoys traveling and eating great food so he and his wife often choose “foodie cities” recently visiting Denver,  Washington D.C., and Michigan.  He also enjoys exercising, preferring swimming, taking his dogs for walks or riding his bike to work.   Other interests include reading, cooking, video games, card games such as cribbage, youker and the company of family & friends.

Simon was the recipient of the USSSA Outstanding Teacher award in 2008.

Susie joined Hubbard in early 2019 and has served at both the swim school and as the Executive Director of Camp Hubbard. Susie's time at Hubbard is now spent at our Mesa/Riverview location as General Manager.

Susie was born in Owensboro, Kentucky, and grew up in Sioux City, Iowa.  She went to Wartburg College (Waverly, IA) where she majored in English and History and played NCAA softball and tennis. She earned a Master's degree in Nonprofit Management from Arizona State University. 

She loves tennis, traveling, hiking, camping, and enjoying what Arizona has to offer! She is on a quest to go to all 423 units of the National Park System - she’s halfway there!  She's a Big Sister in Big Brothers Big Sisters, serves on the American Camp Association Local Council of Leaders, and sits on the WITL tennis governing board.

Jana joined Hubbard in Fall 2019. Shas 25 years of management experience!  She spent 10 years at GAP as a manager, was an Area Manager at the Children’s Place, a District Training Manager at David’s Bridal, and the Director of Operations and Development at Event Network.

Jana was born in McAllen, Texas and moved to Phoenix in 1980 graduating from ASU with a degree in Economics although she started out as a PreMed major at NAU. Fun fact: she studied abroad for a summer in Aix-En-Provence, France!  She recently spent 18 months living in Salt Lake City, UT, but considers Phoenix her home.  Jana is a HUGE SciFi fan having seen every Star Trek episode and movie.  Jana has been married to Chris for 20 years and has two wonderful children, Jayne and Cameron. 

Jana was immediately drawn to HFSS after reading about our culture and values. She knew right away that she wanted to be a part of the special and unique family!  Professionally, her goal is to keep learning and growing so that she can develop as a person and a leader. The most important things to Jana are her family and her faith!
