About Maggie's Place

Maggie’s Place is committed to serving mothers – upholding dignity, providing support for those experiencing barriers to thriving, and building an inclusive, trauma-informed community.
HFSS provides discounted lessons to Maggie's Place moms & employees. Offering is not advertised; simply word of mouth from Maggie's Place; we do not need to verify if a caller is/was a mom there or employee of.

Discounted Tuition Rate:

- Group Classes Only: $40/mo/child. Flat rate, no sibling discount. One class per student.
- Baby Splash regular one-time fee still applies.
- Maggie's Place pays for lessons 3 months at a time.

Enrollment & Drop

Enrollment Process

1. Family Keyword: Maggie's Place
2. Family Note Medium: Maggie's Place Family
3. Make their due date 2 weeks out to allow a check to be cut and given to mom to bring in.
4. Send Grants@hubbardswim.com an email to allow HFSS to contact Maggie's Place and make adjustments as needed.

Note: It is not unusual for a Maggie's Place mom to have a balance due on their account as they have to request a check from MP, wait for finance department to cut check and then bring it in.

Drop Process

Treat the family as you would any other for all HFSS procedures. Submit the Grants Notice Form; we then can make necessary adjustments to the account and/or issue refunds.

Grant Coordinator Responsibility

Tutorial

Email our Maggie's Place contact alerting them a new family has enrolled and request funds. Use Maggie's Place Template.
Receive and enter checks.
Flag accounts in all the correct places.
Place Tuition override on students.
Send “welcome” email to M.P. Mom letting her know how our lessons work (ie lessons don’t automatically end when funds run out. That attendance matters for possible additional funds and how far their check will get them.)
Send email to M.P. contact alerting them when it's time to replenish funds (the week after a DD when they are at $0).
If M.P. chooses to not fund further, cancel swimmer accordingly & alert family.
Alert KDLC when to cut refund checks.
