Master safety practices and proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
Learn accurate measuring and layout using fractional and metric systems
Safely operate stationary and handheld woodworking tools in accordance with OSHA and manufacturer guidelines
Explore woodworking joints and adhesives while constructing functional projects
Develop finishing techniques including sanding, staining, and applying clear coats
By the end of the course, students will have the skills and confidence to safely use woodworking equipment and complete quality projects. This class is ideal for students interested in the trades, construction, or just learning how to work with their hands.
