Welcome! My name is Mr. Brest, and I’m proud to be the teacher for Woods Technology at Hubbard High School.

I hold a Bachelor’s degree from PennWest University and a Master of Education in Curriculum & Teaching from Bowling Green State University. With nearly 18 years of teaching experience, I’ve dedicated my career to helping students develop real-world skills through hands-on learning.

In my classroom, safety always comes first. Before we begin any project, students learn to properly use tools, follow procedures, and maintain a respectful, secure shop environment.

Outside the classroom, I’m a proud dad to two beautiful twin daughters who are in the third grade here at Hubbard. I enjoy building of any kind—wood, metal, home projects—you name it. If you ever have a building question, feel free to ask! I always enjoy talking shop.
