IGCSEs: Through the support of our teachers and a comprehensive guidance programme, students select their IGCSE options in Year 9, based on their individual interests, talents and aspirations. IGCSEs are studied during Year 10 & 11 (Key Stage 4). IGCSE stands for ‘International General Certificate of Secondary Education’. It is an examination program offered by the University of Cambridge and these qualifications are recognised by the world’s best universities and employers, giving our students a wide range of options. IB Studies: All students at HHIS have the opportunity to progress to our IB programme. IB Studies are for 16 - 19 year old and these opportunities build upon previous learning and experiences and extends our students even further. Our University and Employment programme supports students throughout their education at HHIS. It is particularly important during IGCSE and IB studies, as our students think about the future and as they take their first steps into higher education and the world of work. This guidance includes events and workshops for students and parents, in order to provide advice on a full range of international opportunities, as well as applications and interviews.
