We pride ourselves on the friendly and supportive nature of our school. For all new students starting at HHIS, they are supported by the chance to visit HHIS in advance or so they can connect online via a video call with students in their class. This is organised with our teachers. It is important that they can meet their new class, their teachers and so they can get familiar with their lessons and classrooms. We always assign a 'buddy' on the first day so that there is lots of guidance and the chance to ask questions with a new friend. 

The HHIS Buddy System was designed by Secondary Students in June 2023 to promote inclusive spirit across the whole school.
