Feedback and Assessment from External Preceptors
External preceptors collaborate in guiding, observing, and assessing students during their field training in community and hospital pharmacy settings. Feedback and assessment should be fair, constructive, and based on the student’s actual performance during training.
Mid-Training Feedback (Between 2 and 6-8-2026)
Preceptors should provide brief feedback during the middle of the training period to help students recognize their strengths and improve before the end of training.
Feedback may include:
Attendance and punctuality
Professional behavior
Communication with patients and staff
Participation in training activities
Counseling and pharmacy practice skills
Areas requiring improvement
Recommended actions for the remaining training period

End-of-Training Evaluation (Between 23 and 27-8-2026)
At the end of the training period, the preceptor should complete the End-of-Training Preceptor Evaluation Form to assess the student’s overall performance.
The final evaluation may include:
Attendance and commitment
Professionalism and ethical behavior
Communication skills
Patient counseling ability
Medication knowledge
Participation in pharmacy activities
Ability to follow instructions
Readiness for pharmacy practice
