Community Pharmacy Field Training 2 provides a progressive, workplace-based learning pathway that supports pharmacy students in translating academic knowledge into safe, ethical and person-centred professional practice.
Through supervised training in approved community and hospital pharmacies, students gain direct exposure to the pharmacist’s role in medication management, patient counselling, health promotion, medication safety and the responsible provision of pharmaceutical care. This course integrates structured workplace experience with scientific training manual, digital learning resources, academic guidance, preceptor supervision, reflective activities and competency-based assessment.
Community Pharmacy Field Training 2 builds upon these foundations by strengthening students’ clinical reasoning, ethical decision-making and ability to manage increasingly complex practice situations. It places greater emphasis on evidence-based recommendations, responsible self-care support, identification of medication-related problems, appropriate referral and comprehensive person-centred care.
