Community Pharmacy Field Training 1 provides a progressive, workplace-based learning pathway that supports pharmacy students in translating academic knowledge into safe, ethical and person-centred professional practice.

Through supervised training in approved community pharmacies, students gain direct exposure to the pharmacist’s role in medication management, patient counselling, health promotion, medication safety and the responsible provision of pharmaceutical care. The course integrates structured workplace experience with scientific training manual, digital learning resources, academic guidance, preceptor supervision, reflective activities and competency-based assessment.

Community Pharmacy Field Training 1 introduces students to the community pharmacy environment and develops foundational competencies in professional conduct, communication, prescription processing, medicine information and patient counselling.
