Cognitive behavioral therapy, or CBT, focuses on the connection between thoughts, emotions and behaviors. It has been proven to be an effective self-help tool and psychological treatment to manage a range of mental health concerns, including anxiety and depression. CBT strategies include things like questioning fearful thoughts, slowly trying out new or different activities, and using your senses to ground yourself in the present. CBT is effective but takes time to master, so be patient with yourself. :)
