Gelli print

Refer to the examples provided and use your images and experiments to create new ways of creating a gelli print-based resolved work

HINTS:

• photocopy your prints to cut up for experimentation.

• create your custom stencils to use on your prints

• explore ways to create a series of prints and alternative ways to display them

• explore new ways of making prints [research image transfer.

• use your prints to collage and create new works.

Process 

1. research and explore examples of artworks based on the gelli print process.  

2. use your visual diary to make notes and make sketches/plans of possible outcomes to develop your Gelli print-based artwork.

3. Use your print experiments or make new ones to use for your work.

4. Photograph each composition and annotate when deciding which one to use. Investigate new drawing and print-based conventions to plan your final composition

5. Complete your your final design [this must be a resolved work so requires thought and consideration to the outcome - would you hang it in a gallery!!!!
