You will use your Tūhura to now develop and create a resolved artwork which is a single sustained and significant artwork.
You must work within an established practice. An established practice encompasses how an artwork is created, viewed, experienced, and valued. It acknowledges and specifies the unique characteristics and constraints, stylistic intent, processes, materials, and techniques unique to the artwork/technique.
Your work must:
use media and techniques relevant to the art-making convention of your selected media area
use appropriate established practices that are informed by your selected artist model
identify the specific design and production conventions appropriate to the established practice.
Within your chosen media area you will create a range of related works and then explore and develop a resolved work for display such as
an artist book, or
a single resolved work, or
a hanging display.
YOU HAVE A CHOICE OF THREE ESTABLISHED PRACTICAL AREAS IN WHICH TO CREATE YOUR RESOLVED WORK
