STEP 1
make a COPY of your digital workbook. NAME THIS FILE "1.3 EVIDENCE".
attach this copy back to the same post [you should now have digital workbook, 1.2 and 1.3 slideshow all attached]
STEP 2
remove all headings, title pages and grading pages
condense your work down to 8 pages of slides [these are A3 size] that are process work towards your 1.2 & 1.4 work
Slide 1-3 process work for 1.2 standard
Slide 4-5 process work for a third media area
slide6-8 - process work for 1.4 standard [painting]
** remember for a merit or higher you must "Demonstrate investigation of a range (three or more) processes, materials, and techniques in response to an art making intention." [we have done mixed media/gelli print/cyanotype/painting]
STEP 3 - ADD in any further information in form of photographs or annotation that is missing. Refer to the exemplars provided for ideas on what to include
STEP 4 - check each page carefully! does your layout make sense and showcase your work and ideas. Can scans of writing be read easily?
remove your name if its on any pages.
The submission must be entirely self-contained – it must not include links to content outside of the submission (e.g. a link that takes the assessor to a YouTube video or a file in Google Drive). Any such linked content will be excluded from assessment.
Text should be submitted with the following fonts:
Arial
Courier New
Georgia
Times New Roman
Trebuchet MS
Verdana
Font size should be a minimum of 11 pt max 20pt
Line spacing for text Single or 1.5 lines.
Some of the strategies that successfully showcased student creativity include:
densely populated authentic workbook pages
a range of processes condensed into a single page
thumbnail sketches and studies in multiples
authentic and concise annotation and labels
mockups of ideas using collage
photos of process work, especially showing different arrangements and thinking.
TIPS
Remove headings that were used to guide you to what went on the slide ie. birds & bones or Waihanga
Crop all excess borders off images [re-photograph any bad photos!]
shrink the size of your photos - don't waste a slide on 1 or 2 images
Each slide is A3 - use all available space. blank space = wasted space [consider it as 4 sections]
Rearrange images from other slides and combine pages.
Make sure each page is cohesive in experiment/image that relate to each other.
Include reference images that you have been working from for compositions and experiments [make small].
Add annotations about the purpose and intended use of the experiment, what worked or not and what next to try.
ONLY TO BE DONE IF REQUIRED BY YOUR TEACHER. OTHERWISE SUBMISSION IS VIA GOOGLE CLASSSROOM AS PER USUAL PROCESSES.
