Japanese Internment

1) To answer this question you will examine a number of primary sources and complete the graphic organizer. Begin by watching the primary source film strip video from 1942. Remember that this was a government created newsreel made by the government to explain its reasons and strategies for interning the Japanese. Newsreels would have been shown before movies to large groups of people in a theater. This was a time before TV, much less the internet! Consider the potential audience and purpose for this source.
