Task One

Go to Accelerated Reader. Log in using your computer username and your Google password. Once logged in click on the 'Accelerated Reader' button.

Task Two

Once you are logged in you can search for a book that you have finished recently (maybe the one you wrote a review on). Then, click 'Take Quiz'.

Task Three

You can also take a quiz on Articles that have been written for Accelerated Reader. Find these on the AR homepage.

Task Four

Go to Reading Cloud. It will ask for a site; type in our school name. Use the username you have been given on paper. Your password is your birthday with no spaces (e.g. 27072013).

Task Five

 Search for a book that you have read. Scroll all the way to the bottom of the page. Click on 'Write a Review'. Write a paragraph about your opinion of the book in full sentences. 

Do not summarise the book.

Task Six

Click back to the Reading Cloud Homepage and click on 'Reading Lists'. Are there any books that you would like to reserve?

Task Seven

 Go to Sora. Log in by searching for our school and then use your Google account to sign in.

Task Eight

Browse Sora and 'read samples' of the eBooks available. If you like any, you can borrow one. Once you have borrowed a book you can change the reading settings (font, page colour, etc.).

Task Nine

Click on 'Me' amd check out all the digital badges and achievements you can win. You can also find your digital reading stats here and 'Edit Profile'.
