Why is Wider Reading Useful?

Wider reading is when students independently read different types of texts about certain topics to build their knowledge. Wider reading should help you with your studies as it can deepen your awareness and understanding of different areas of your course

Here are some book suggestions that will provide you with extra knowledge around this topic. These readings should make answering GCSE questions easier. Please note that these are suggestions not mandatory readings, it is not advisable to read every book that we have suggested.

The exam questions will only ask you about Christianity and Islam. 

Some of the revision guides below include Judaism, you are welcome to learn about this faith but it will not be on the exam.
