Nat is a BAFTA nominee and has also been nominated by the Royal Society of Literature and the Royal Academy of Arts. Before becoming an author and screenwriter, she spent ten years as a stand up comedian.
Today she writes funny and thoughtful stories for young people, as well as films for adults. Her books often explore themes such as friendship, mental health, growing up, and a little bit of magic too. She is also a keen swimmer, which sometimes inspires her stories.
Her writing mixes humour with real life topics, creating books that are both entertaining and relatable.

Tasneem Abdur-Rashid is a British Bengali writer born and raised in London. Tasneem has worked across media, PR and communications both in the UK and in the UAE. Tasneem has published adult fiction before but this is her first YA title.
Tasneem is an ex-student of Hornsey School for Girls!

Philippa Gregory is a bestselling historical novelist, known for books like The Other Boleyn Girl and the Order of Darkness series. She wrote her first novel while completing a PhD in eighteenth-century literature, and her work is famous for blending history with storytelling. A recognised expert in women’s history, she has received multiple honorary degrees and was awarded a CBE for her contributions to literature and charity. Philippa also founded Gardens for The Gambia, a charity that funded nearly 200 wells for schools and communities. In 2016, she received the Outstanding Contribution to Historical Fiction Award.
