Why is Wider Reading Useful?

Wider reading is when students independently read different types of texts about certain topics to build their knowledge. Wider reading should help you with your studies as it can deepen your awareness and understanding of different areas of your course

We have provided a list of books that share similarities to or provide context for your set text. Reading around your set text will provide you with historical or contextual knowledge which should make answering GCSE questions easier.
