About Us
Our Learning Resources Center (LRC) is located at the front of the school and looks out onto the school's main courtyard. The LRC provides library lessons to KS3 students once a fortnight and is open to students before and after school along with break and lunchtimes.
Books
There are roughly 12,000 books in our library including Fiction, Non fiction, Graphic Novels and Manga. Fiction is arranged by the author's surname and non fiction is arranged using the Dewey Decimal System. Graphic Novels are arranged by author's surname while manga is arranged in alphabetical order by title. Easy readers are arranged by Accelerated Reader Level.
Computers
We have 48 PCs for students to use for homework and study purposes. All PCs have internet access and the full Microsoft Office Suite along with 2D design and other useful programmes used within their subjects.
Other Services
Students can print and photocopy in the LRC and purchase small amounts of stationery. iPads and headphones can be borrowed for short periods of time.
