Cognitive Development is how children think and process the information around them. Child Development Theorists have different theories on how children learn. What is evident to me, there is no one way children learn. A good teacher realizes this and understands that there needs to be a variety of opportunities for children to learn. Factors that must be considered is language development, vocabulary, fine and gross motor skill development, and social/emotional awareness. Click here to find more information on each domain. My role will be to guide your child into solving problems and help them make sense of the world around them. I don't give answers; I will ask open ended questions or build vocabulary to support the young learners. I am excited to share this skill with you.
