Cybersecurity affects every individual, organization, and nation. This course focuses on the evolving and pervasive technological environment with an emphasis on securing personal, organizational, and national information. Students will be introduced to the principles of cybersecurity, explore emerging technologies, examine threats and protective measures, and investigate the diverse high-skill, high-wage, and high-demand career opportunities in the field of cybersecurity.

This week we are talking about the Internet of Things and learning how the internet is in our everyday lives. How would you live without the internet? This generation has always had the internet.

This week we are signing up for CodeHS, a website we will use this quarter to help us with learning about cybersecurity. This website has assignments that the students will have to complete outside of class so we can discuss the information together in class. Otherwise, we won't have time!
