Step 2 - Complete the Working with Children Check (WWCC) Application  (14+ years)

We believe that Hope Valley Church should be a safe place for all, especially the youngest and most vulnerable in our community. We are committed to creating an environment where the safety and welfare of children is paramount. 

All volunteers who serve under the umbrella of Hope Valley Church (whether they volunteer with children or not) undergo a working with children check. 

For people who already have a WWCC you still need to complete step one of applying for a WWCC so that synod has a record of people who are serving through Hope Valley Church. If your WWCC was not completed through the synod, we need the following information please so it can be added to our register. 

On the email from DHS there will be a number that follows the letters; Unique ID: SRN ####-####.  Please provide these details in the Step 1 form to the Church Office.

If you are unable to locate your original email from DHS, please go to this website and under 'Working with Children Check Registration Number' please complete the steps and they will send you the information.

WWCC - Application

Step 3 - Sign the Child Safe Environments Form (14+ years)

In addition to undergoing a WWCC, all volunteers are required to understand and execute where necessary, certain legal responsibilities towards children and young people.  

Hope Valley Church has a Child Safe Environment policy which outlines obligations for staff and volunteers. Please watch the video and complete the form below.
