The SP Alumni Spotlight is managed by me, Danelle Rohwedder Cash, SPHS Class of 2004. I'm currently the French teacher and Student Government Association Sponsor at Spain Park High School.  

In 2004, my classmates named me "Most School Spirit," and I think that energy has stayed with me ever since.  I am passionate about showing our community how Spain Park High School has had a positive impact on so many and how it prepares students for success after high school.

My favorite teachers were Kelly Parnell (French), Jill Sturgeon (English), Coach Stephen Hobbs (Chemistry), and Coach Kerry Williams (history).  Ms. Parnell showed me grace.  Ms. Sturgeon told me she was sad that she couldn't read every book there was ever written.  Hobbs set the ceiling on fire. Coach Williams taught me that common sense ain't so common.

I'm most proud and most grateful for my husband Nick Cash (SPHS Class of 2004) and our son Gabriel.  They're my world. I was named Spain Park High School Teacher of the Year for the 2023-2024 school year- that was especially wonderful.
