Class of 2004
I started my own business catering to independently published authors who need assistance with marketing, social media management, PR and other tasks.
Reading, English & Writing. Basic computer systems like Microsoft Office are still valuable to me.
I started working for Orthopedic Surgeons in 2005 and ended that journey in 2019 when I left to work for a group of Oral Surgeons, which was really fun and interesting. I stopped working in 2020 when I got pregnant with my daughter. I have always been an avid reader and loved books, so in 2023 I got to know several authors who expressed a need for assistance so that they had more time to write. I started my business from home and am able to work while still being home with my children, which is an incredible blessing.
You do not have to have it all figured out right now. If your path is different than your peers, that's ok too. One day, it will all fall into place and you'll be so thankful for your journey.
Coach Williams, who taught History. I absolutely loved him. He made me laugh, he made class fun and he nurtured my growth as a student.
Choir and Diamond Dolls. I love to sing (even though I am not good at it) and always loved performing with the choir. Diamond Dolls helped me get a job once. The administrator of a medical practice had a son at SPHS who played baseball. We talked about my time at Spain Park and how much I loved being involved with the Diamond Dolls and the baseball team.
Enjoy yourself and BE yourself. Be unapologetically authentic and let yourself grow into who you're meant to be. Soak up every moment with your friends, go to all the sporting events you can, support your peers and have fun.
My marriage and my two beautiful children. I've been with my husband Ben for 15 years (married for 10) and I love being his partner in everything life brings. My daughter Isabella is 4 and my son Harrison will be 2 in May. They are funny, stubborn, strong willed, and smart. I am so proud to be their mom.
Football and basketball games were fun, but baseball games were my favorite. Tailgating with friends. Learning how to cook in Mrs. Roberts' family learning class was always fun. Pep rallies were the best because Spain Park TRULY had the best school spirit, especially being a newer school at the time.
Getting to help establish new traditions that would be set in stone for all the classes who'd come after us.
