Director of Marketing & Communications for a logistics firm in Birmingham
From my time at Spain Park, I learned about being involved and being invested, working hard to contribute to and improve the world around me, and that’s been so valuable to me in college, adulthood, my community and my career. The leadership skills developed during my time at Spain Park have shaped the way I manage people and projects, and I’m so grateful for those skills and the opportunities from those years!
Find ways to get involved— to develop yourself and develop the friendships made by being involved. Four years goes by quickly, so be intentional with your time and make the most of it! The world is small and the people you meet along the way will shape your future.
I’m most proud of my family— my husband and my three boys.
Some memories that stand out: Before the school construction was completed, we got to tour the building, which was so cool to see and envision what it would be! Also being a part of the ribbon cutting was really special. Our sophomore year, our varsity volleyball team made the state tournament— we were freshmen and sophomores competing against juniors and seniors, and finished third!
It was really special to be a part of the first graduating class— we were all in it together and it made for a tight knit class, establishing traditions that would be a part of building the future.
