F2  Reinhold "Roney" Schritter USN 876 12 46

My Grandfather  Reinhold "Roney"  Schritter SN#876 12 46 enlisted in the US Navy 27 Mar 1944 to 29 Dec 1945.  

He was a a Fireman 2nd Class on the USS David W. Taylor (DD-551), a Fletcher-class destroyer   

 He is buried at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona in Phoenix.   His parents were Germans who were from Russia and came to the United States in 1910.  They made their home in Idaho.
