Captain Anthony Simone USAF

I had the honor of communicating with Captain Anthony Simone USAF after he purchased a Purple Heart medal from my Etsy store.

This man is a true Hero!! He flew over 200 rescue missions and was on his third deployment in 2010 when his Pave Hawk (Pedro Six Six) was shot down. He is one of two survivors of the crash. He was severely injured in the crash. He was able to steer the spinning Pave Hawk away from the prepared landing zone that certainly saved lives. He has been through so much in his life and sacrificed so much.
