TMC {SS} William Jay McCarthy (BJ)  USN

My Cousin TMC {SS} William McCarthy (BJ) served in the US Navy from 27 JUN 1961 to 4 JUN 1965  and then again from 21 Feb 1967 to 31 DEC 1982 as a Torpedoman's Mate on several nuclear submarines including the USS Daniel Boone and USS Andrew Jackson.  He was a Vietnam Veteran.  He really liked to fish and drink.  He was another great man.  He passed away in 1996.
