I'm Ms. Roberts, and I am the FNMI (First Nations, Metis, and Inuit) Learning Facilitator here at St. Francis Junior High. As a part of the Holy Spirit Catholic School Division's Niitsitapi ('Real People') team, I am honoured to be working with such an amazing group of students, staff, admin, parents, Elders, Knowledge Keepers, and our FNMI community. I assist students with whatever they need, support staff and teachers, connect with parents, and learn from our Elders and Knowledge Keepers on a daily basis. I am a proud member of the Metis Nation of AB, and my Cree ancestry connects me to the land, and supports my spirit for learning about Indigenous ways of knowing and doing.
