Oki/Hello!

My English name is Kathryn Domes and my Blackfoot name is Awootahnahki (Shield Woman). I am honoured to be the First Nations, Métis and Inuit Graduation Coach here are St. Francis Junior High. I have taught Art, Religion and Humanities here since 2007 and am also a former student, so St. Francis has been my home for many years. I am married with two children who attend Ecole St. Mary's School. I hold a Bachelor of Fine Arts and Bachelor of Education from the University of Lethbridge. I have a passion for creating an inclusive environment in my classroom and love creating strong connections with my students while learning as much as I can about Indigenous traditions and beliefs.
