This piece of work demonstrates something I am proud of. For this assignment, we had to name at least 7 communities we were a part of. I decided to put this in my portfolio because I enjoyed reflecting on the groups I belonged to and my similarities with the people in them. I discovered that I was alike with so many more people than I thought. It was a fun assignment because I got to reminisce on memories I made with the people in each community. I was also pleased with how the results of my google slides. I was able to express myself and know more about who I am as a person.

Be Like Jesus. This represents my work because I've learned that to be a part of a community, you have to work with others and be kind. That's what Jesus would've done in any community He was a part of. It's important to follow Jesus' example if you want to live peacefully and get along with others.

This piece of work demonstrates an important concept I have learned. For this project, Isaiah and I made an egg protector device. I've never done this type of project before so I was nervous and excited to do it. It was hard at first to come up with some ideas, but we were able to create something great at the end. I'm really proud of the results and how it looked. We added the Mary Poppin's hat from my Halloween costume from a few years ago and I think it added a creative touch. Along with that, there was also 4 balloons and a tiny compartment in between them. Most importantly, I put this in my portfolio because it worked and I was really scared it wouldn't if the egg happened to fall out. Luckily it didn't, and we also got the extra credit. I was just extremely happy with this project.

Be Responsible Citizens. This represents my work because it was important to understand the concept of this project. If not, I most likely would've failed with the egg drop. This is being a responsible citizen since it's my obligation to do research and find the best ways for the egg to survive the fall. With enough research and planning, I was able to make a successful egg protector device along with Isaiah. We had the right materials, ideas, and execution of this project.

This piece of work demonstrates something I am proud of and an important concept I have learned. This was the Final Exam for vocab. I was extremely worried that I would fail this test. It was worth a lot of points and I didn't want to get a low grade. Along with that, there was so many words that I needed to study. It was a bit stressful as first, but as I was taking the test, it all naturally came to me. I was answering each question pretty quick, but there was two questions where I doubted my answers. Fortunately, I trusted my guts, stuck with my answers, and got everything correct. Seeing the results was a huge relief and I was very proud of myself afterwards. There were all the words we had learned so far this year and I was impressed I still knew them.

Be the Best You Can Be. This represents my work since I did study hard before this exam. Studying is truly worth it no matter how tiring or boring it can be. You can always improve your knowledge with studying and reviewing. I didn't exactly study for a long time, but it was enough to remember all the words in the test. I was focused and didn't let anything distract me while I was studying. All of that payed off because I did the best I could to do well on that final exam.
