This piece of work demonstrates an important concept I have learned. For this assignment, we made a google slides on 5 gifts, talents, and skills we possess. I chose to put this in my portfolio because it gave me a reminder to check up on myself. It's much harder to find ways to compliment others rather than yourself. Being able to recognize your own good traits is something not everyone can do so easily. This assignment taught me the importance of knowing about the skills and gifts I have.
Be Like Jesus. This represents my work since it contains traits I have obtained by following Jesus. On a daily basis, it's important to act and speak as Jesus would. In this way, you'll be able to develop many good traits from Jesus' example. Along with that, all the talents and gifts we currently have come from God. Because of that, we should always be grateful and showcase it through giving love to our neighbors. If we want to be a good person, we truly have to be like Jesus to the best of our abilities.

This piece of work demonstrates how much I've improved. It also shows something I am proud of. In this assignment, we made an acrostic poem on the electoral college. I was just satisfied with how this assignment looked. Once I finished it, I felt like I did a good job. I was also able to finish this assignment quite fast. The reason I chose to put this in my portfolio is because I learned a lot of skills that have led up to this assignment. I've improved with my presentation and my time of completion.
Be A Responsible Citizen. Based on the fact that it's constitution, I've learned more about how the elections of our presidents work and how we, as citizens, make our votes. It was an interesting lesson and I was able to learn how important it is to fulfill our responsibilities as citizens. We make a big difference in our country just by voting. So, along with the skills I've learned from this assignment, I've also learned how I can be a responsible citizen and vote on Election Day when I reach of age.

This overall piece of work demonstrates something I am proud of, but also something I need to work on. I was proud of the quality of the work I submitted. The only part I wished I did better was my time management. I put in most of my effort in the details. Because of that, I wasn't going at the best pace and I wanted to put in more slides but I didn't have the time to. I chose to put this in my portfolio as a lesson to work on. I am capable of turning in good quality work while managing my time well, and I will try to do that moving forward.
Be the Best You Be. This represents my work since it was about a book called Ugly. For this assignment, we had to create a text conversation between characters in an important scene. So far, the book really teaches lots of valuable life lessons. An important one is to just be kind and don't judge. In other words, be the best you can be. The way you treat others will create a great impact in their life. So, carefully think through the way you act and speak so that you don't end up hurting anyone.

This piece of work demonstrates an important concept I have learned. This assignment was a google slides project where we listed the elements of the periodic table. On my slides, I listed elements eleven through twenty. I learned so much about the elements and what they are used for in daily life. I was able to use this assignment as a way of studying for the test we would have later on. I worked hard on this piece of work and put in a lot of effort. It is something I am very much proud of as well.
Be the Best You Can Be. This represents my work because it's always nice to put in 100% of your effort into something. When you try your best to understand the concept, it will be a major advantage when it's time to take a test on it. If you can manage your time properly, you won't need to rush assignments just to get it done. So, be the best you can be and do work the best you can, especially since it'll benefit you in the future.

This piece of work demonstrates how much I've improved. This assignment is a graffiti wall using our vocabulary words. We include a definition, synonyms, and pictures to create our graffiti wall. For me personally, this is one of my favorite graffiti walls I've ever done. I really like the background images I chose and how it looks all together. I was also able to figure out how to do this assignment quicker and more efficiently. I was able to save time and submit good quality work.
Be A Responsible Citizen. I feel like this demonstrates my work since it's my obligation as a student to turn in quality work. Every time I do assignments, it should be given great effort. It's my goal to be proud of what I've done at the end of the day. So like a responsible citizen, I should be a responsible student. This is something I strive to do everyday whether I'm at school or home. It's important to know your priorities and know what you want to achieve from that.
