Algebra

This piece of work is something I needed help with. I honestly had a hard time, but after some help, I was able to understand it.

I chose to put this in my portfolio since I was able to do well after I reread the lessons and asked for help. I'm glad that I was able to comprehend what to do.

Be a responsible citizen. By this, I mean being responsible enough to ask for help. Don't try being independent if you know you can't understand it.

Science

This piece of work is something I am very proud of. With the help of my classmates, I think I did a great job of roleplaying in our zoom classes.

I chose to put this in my portfolio since I experienced so many emotions during the trials for this science class: nervousness, frustration, and relief. I enjoyed my research on the John Moore Trial and I'm proud of my delivery in roleplaying as a lawyer. I also had fun discussing with my classmates and debating with the other team.

Be the best you can be. This demonstrates my work since I put in all effort into what I did. I also didn't want to disappoint my team, so I did my best to be prepared and help them out when needed.

English

This piece of work is something I need to work on. I was very confused at the beginning and I believe I could do better.

I chose to put this in my portfolio so that I can see how much I've improved later on. This may be a weak subject for me, but with some studying, I can always learn.

Be the best you can be. No matter what, I still tried my best. I may have had a difficulty, but I'm just proud that I was able to never give up.

Social Studies

This piece of work demonstrates something I am proud of since it took a lot of time and effort to complete it.

I chose to put this in my portfolio since it contains locations of places in Florence, Italy that I want to visit. I really enjoyed making this, and I like how the scrapbook pages look. For the process, I made sure to carefully pick out the pictures and actually search up the individual locations on Google Maps so the distances between them would be reasonable for walking.

Be a responsible citizen. This demonstrates my work since I did all I could to make this project well done. It took a large amount of time and research, but as a student, it is my responsibility to turn in quality work. I think I was responsible enough to understand that my efforts would pay off in the future.

Jenna B - ASSIGNMENT - Social Studies / English Writing Activity - Day At the Museum

Art

This piece of work is something I have improved on. With this artwork of koi fish, I think I've improved greatly with the techniques of shading, coloring, and drawing.

I chose to put this in my portfolio since I felt that it was really completed. I was able to capture all the expressions and movements that I wanted, making me satisfied with what I did. I also like the highlights and how all the colors came together.

Be the best you can be. It may look simple, but at least it's finished. I did my best in making it look good, and this is what the results were. I'm proud of this artwork, and it is very special to me.
