ACT accommodations, once received, apply to all ACT exams, whether they are national or special. Once the request has been received, it USUALLY takes 10-14 business days to receive a response.
Families register for a specific test date on the ACT website. The College Counseling Coordinator gets a notification, and then uploads the documents.
ACT reminds private schools that just because a student has a diagnosis and the required documentation does not mean ACT will approve our request. There is an appeal process, if needed.
Requirements:
Signed consent form
Active accommodations on a Holton ILP (suggested >12 months)
Neuropsychological testing that includes a “documented disability” (suggested within 3 years of test date)
Letter from Testing Coordinator/Academic Support team
