First Quarter Fourth Grade Art Projects:

Please email a photo of your work to Ms.Scharfenberg at ellen.scharfenberg@hillsboroschools.org or bring it to the elementary school front office. Any work that is not turned in can not be graded. Students will missing work will receive a / for a grade and a comment about the missing work.

Week 1 - Color: I can identify complementary colors and color families.

Week 2 - Value: How do I make tints and shades?

Week 3 - Line & Pattern: I can use line to create expression and patterns.

Week 4 - Shape: I will learn about ORGANIC SHAPES, so that I CAN create a fishbowl painting inspired by the work of Henri Matisse

Week 5 - Movement: How can I use line, shape and color to create movement?

Week 6 - Fall: How can I use variety to create a visually interesting image?

Week - 7 Farms: How can I use a ruler and a grid to create a realistic barn?

Week - 8 Art & Music: I can use color to create unity and variety.
