In this module, participants will gain a deeper understanding of examples of commonly established SAF accounts. In any accounting system, the chart of accounts systematically categorizes the listing for all accounts. In SAF, the chart of accounts includes data elements of Category Name, Category Number, and Category Umbrella. Sub-category names and numbers may also be used. Category Numbers 1000 through 5999 have been assigned, in sets of 1,000, to each of the following Category Series: Administration, Grade/Graduating Class, Student Activity, Club, and Sport Team. Category Umbrellas are used to group Categories for administration and reporting purposes, for Regular Activities and Special Activities.
Please click on the Student Activity Fund Quizzes link below to access the SAF Quizzes (Modules 2-13). You will receive a confirmation email once you are registered in Canvas LMS with instructions on how to access the system.
