Module 5: Leave Sharing
In this module, participants will gain a deeper understanding of leave sharing -- when an employee donates part of their available leave balance (sick or vacation) to another employee who has been approved for leave sharing.
The Department of Education's Leave Sharing Program is administered by the Office of Talent Management. There is also a leave sharing program in the current contract with the Hawaii State Teachers' Association, for Maternity/Paternity Leave for BU05 members only.
