In this module, participants will gain a deeper understanding of Family Leave including the differences between state and federal law and where employees can find more information if they want to take leave.

Know where to find guidelines and forms about Family Leave.
Know the criteria for an employee to be eligible for Family Leave under the federal and state laws.
Understand that paid Family Leave is only available under the Hawaii Family Leave Law, and it uses the employee's existing balance of sick and/or vacation leave.
Know what to do if a salaried employee says he/she wants to take Family Leave.
Know how to account for Family Leave in TnA.
