In this module, participants will gain a deeper understanding of the Projected School List (PSL) and Teacher Assignment and Transfer Program (TATP). Each year, after the Salaried Financial Plan is for approved next school year, the Department needs to take action to ensure the teacher staffing is in place for the next school year. The Projected School List process records the next school year’s educational officer and teacher assignments and identifies vacancies. The Teacher Allocation and Transfer Process announces vacant teacher positions and provides an opportunity for eligible teachers to apply, principals to interview and select applicants, and the Form 5 for the new school year to be provided to teachers before the teachers’ last work day of the current school year.
