Module 20: Bargaining Unit 01 Shift Work Schedule
In this module, participants will gain a deeper understanding and awareness of the Bargaining Unit 01 Shift Work Schedule. By agreement between the United Public Workers union (UPW) and the Department of Education, Bargaining Unit 01 members select their shifts by seniority nine (9) weeks prior to the beginning of each semester. The presentation of work schedules and work assignments is the responsibility of the supervisor or Principal or Principal’s designee.

Know where to find information about procedures and forms needed to comply with the agreement between UPW and DOE.
Understand the Principal or supervisor’s role and the SASA’s role.
