In this course, participants will gain a deeper understanding of the Office of Talent Management (OTM) and its many responsibilities. The OTM staff "administer a comprehensive personnel program for certificated, classified, and casual employees of the public school system within the framework of established laws, policies, and accepted principles of personnel management." (6/30/2021 Organization Chart Functional Statement). OTM is involved in the recruitment process before employees are hired, and during every employee’s tenure at DOE, until the employee leaves DOE employment.
