The advisers uploaded a Google Form in the Homeroom Guidance Classroom of their respective advising classes last September 20, 2021, with options for clubs that students might be interested to join in order to better use and enhance their own skills.
As Lynda Peterson once said, “With organization comes empowerment.” People are aware of the fact that despite how limitless our capacities and abilities are, we cannot nurture them alone. The development of one’s cognitive and social potential enormously depends on how an individual can distribute and share his/her perceptions, thoughts, and ideas with others. Therefore, having effective interactions with others inside a system or organization can pave the way to progress and innovation. Commitment is known to be the key for successful organizations but the willingness to engage and participate in the people involved is the one that enables a system or group to thrive and succeed.
With this, Holy Family Montessori has once again opened its doors to aspirants who yearn to be a part of empowering educational organizations with various notable purposes and objectives. To be able to become one of the members of the school clubs, the faculty and administrators have generated and posted forms via Google Forms in which the learners can freely choose any school organization/s they prefer to be a part of. Since the institution has consistently wanted to develop the igniting core passion and even the camaraderie of the students, there are exactly eight established clubs from which the learners can select from. The established clubs pertained to are the following:
Explorator (Journalism Club) - The organization ensures that the dissemination of accurate information regarding the school announcements and events is being maintained. This is being headed by the Editor-in-Chief of the Explorator, Ms. Juliane Macy Luna.
Instrumentalist Club - With the leadership of Ms. Diannah Mae Cuevas and the collaboration of the club members, they are assigned to perform and play musical instruments to accompany different songs and provide vibrance to various occasions being held.
Gamers Club - The main objective of this social club is to enhance the gaming skills of the Montessorians as well as gain entertainment while doing so. This is successfully maintained by Mr. Karl Reniel Medina, the president of the club.
Glee Club - Nourishing one’s singing ability and confidence is the main goal of the Glee Club. This is possible because of the camaraderie of the members led by Ms. Fiona Francine Remo.
Montessori Dance Company (MDC) - Hip hop and K-pop dances are some of the dance genres that are being performed by the versatile members of the MDC during school events. This is being primarily administered by Ms. Eiris Mya Areta, the head of the group.
Book Lovers Club - To strengthen the comprehension and vocabulary skills of Montessorians as well as to guide them with regards to the library are the purposes of the Book Lovers Club. This is sustained by the efforts of the participants led by Ms. Mae Calingasan.
Film and Photography Club - Administered by Mr. Rasel Rary, the members of this social group manage digital assignments such as video recordings and editing. Screenshots for announcements are also being provided by this club.
Campus Ministry - They organize and manage the holy gatherings and events being accompanied in the school such as the praying of the Holy Rosary. This is being led by Ms. Julianna Fazenda Malpal.
With this, the learners will be able to share and showcase their limitless potential as well as build long-lasting and enduring connections and friendships among opportunities.
Indeed, being able to be a part of a whole is empowering since an individual will be able to know his/her capacity for innovation and progress of the group. Joining school clubs can surely strengthen the will of the learners to engage in something useful and valuable. Therefore, let us nourish and use our potential in embracing our intelligence and sharing them with others for empowered responses are useless without delegated action and implementation.
