"Art has the role in education of helping children become more like themselves, instead of more like everyone else." -Sydney Gurewitz Clemens
The Harborfields Art faculty pride themselves as professionals whose mission is to ensure success for every child. It is the goal of our program to provide a world class K-12 Art Education focusing on one child at a time. Through the study of the Fine Arts we are developing important skills that can be transferred across many fields. We engage all of our students and provide experiences that compliment their varied learning styles while encouraging creative risk-taking and problem solving. Throughout the site you will see the work of the creative young artists we are proud to call our HFamily of students!
Thank you for visiting!
Why Study the Arts?
The arts help students grow into thoughtful, confident, well-rounded adults.
Visual arts directly support academic achievement, engagement, and 21st-century skills.
Art helps you stand out—because creativity is power.
Employers want creative problem solvers and innovators—and the arts help you develop those skills. As part of a STEAM education, art builds creativity, critical thinking, and real-world problem-solving that colleges and careers value.
