REGISTER FOR AP ART HISTORY NEW FOR 2025-2026
The AP Art and Design class is designed for students that are seriously interested in furthering their study and experience of creating art. This class requires a great deal of time, passion, talent, and most importantly, creativity. The AP Art and Design program at HHS includes 2 different courses and portfolio exams: AP 2-D Art and Design, and AP Drawing. Each student's goal is to create a portfolio of college-level work that will be submitted for evaluation by the AP Board in May. A qualifying portfolio score can earn you college credit and/or advanced placement.
*Students enrolled in this course will be required to take the AP Art Exam (Portfolio).
Prerequisite: Studio in Art/Drawing & Painting I & II or Studio in Photography I & II or Computer Art I & II
Grade 12 or Grade 11 with Teacher review of student art work
