You Belong
You Matter
You Are Enough
Welcome to Impact Academy! I am thrilled to serve as the 5th grade blended teacher. We will meet as a class in-person on Mondays and Thursdays in room 906 and virtually on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays via Google Meets. I look forward to getting to know each of you this school year.
I am a native of Henry County and am a proud member of the Stockbridge High School class of 1985. I have a Masters of Arts in Teaching from Piedmont University. For almost twenty years, I have taught students in kindergarten through fifth grades in both the general education classroom and in the gifted resource settings. I believe that every child is unique and capable of changing the world by just being him or herself. There is nothing more professionally rewarding than being a small part of helping children develop into life long learners who endeavor to be productive part of our society.
I have been married to my husband, Alan, for almost thirty years. Our only child, Cameron, recently married and is employed with Fulton School public schools in the informational technology department. The boss of our house is a ninety pound airedale terrier named Churchill. When I am not teaching, I enjoy reading, painting, watching television and exploring the North Georgia mountains.
The 2021-2022 is going to be AWESOME! Together we will accomplish great things!!
