I am pleased to join the fabulous fifth grade team to teach fifth graders in the evening from 4 – 7 pm. While I will only be with you until your permanent teacher arrives, I am excited to start you off to a GREAT YEAR of learning! I have been in education for 15 years teaching regular and gifted education in kindergarten through fifth grades. I also had the priviledge of serving as an assistant principal, as well as a community and media relations coordinator. I graduated from the University of Georgia (GO DAWGS!) with a communications degree and worked toward a doctorate in Educational Leadership. I obtained my teaching and leadership certifications, in addition to a master’s degree in Early Childhood Education from the State University of West Georgia. I know every student is gifted in some way, and I look forward to recognizing and promoting those gifts. Providing a happy and productive learning environment is one of my goals as a teacher. Parents and students, please be thinking about your goals for this year. It will take all of us working TOGETHER to achieve those goals for our students! See you soon!
I was hired very recently and have not been issued my email access and equipment, so keep checking back! I will continue to add more information!!!
When I receive school email access and my email address, I will set up the account and you can join. In the meantime, here is a link so you can read about it.
