Message from AD Edwards:
Welcome to ARMS Athletics! đŸ Home of the Jaguars
As we kick off a brand-new school year and athletic season, weâre thrilled to welcome our ARMS community back and extend a warm greeting to all new students, families, and supporters. At ARMS, we are proud to be Jaguars; driven, determined, and dedicated both on and off the field.
Our athletics program is more than just sports. While we strive for excellence in competition, our top priority is academics first. We are committed to accelerating our student-athletes' growth in the classroom, while using athletics as a platform to instill core values like leadership, discipline, teamwork, and resilience. We look forward to a year of growth, achievement, and Jaguar pride. Letâs make this season one to remember! Go Jaguars! đ
This fall, weâre excited to showcase Flag Football, Tackle Football, Softball, and Cheerleading. Our Jaguars are ready to compete with passion, skill, and relentless spiritâget ready for an action-packed season!Â
Flag Football
Head Coach Christopher Iverson leads this yearâs Lady Jaguars Flag Football squad with determination and vision. With just one returning player from last yearâs team, this group is fresh, focused, and full of potential.
In their inaugural season, the Lady Jaguars finished 2-4, laying a solid foundation for growth. Now, with a complete roster of athletic, competitive players, the team is hungry to prove themselves and take the next step. Coach Iversonâs energy and leadership promise an exciting seasonâletâs go, Lady Jaguars!
Football
Head Coach Spencer Miller returns with a brand-new roster but the same high expectations. Last season, the Jaguars fought their way into the HCMS Football Playoffs, showcasing grit and determination. This year, the team has its eyes set on an even deeper playoff runâperhaps even a championship appearance. Coach Miller and his athletes have been putting in the work, and now theyâre ready to prove that Jaguar pride runs strong. Expect big plays, hard hits, and an unforgettable season!
Softball
At the helm of our Lady Jaguars Softball program is Coach Larry Hawkins, whose experience as both a baseball player and coach continues to shape the teamâs development. His emphasis on fundamentals and discipline is helping athletes compete at a high level. Last season, the Lady Jaguars went 5-5, just shy of a playoff berth. This year, theyâre back with renewed focus and a drive to push into the postseason. Coach Hawkinsâ steady leadership has the team primed for successâwatch for this determined squad to battle every inning!
Cheerleading
Our Cheerleading team, led by Coach Sondra Wright, is set to keep Jaguar pride alive all season long. This dynamic group of athletes has been training hard on stunts, chants, and sideline routines, ready to ignite the crowd and rally our teams. More than just performers, these cheerleaders are leadersâbringing passion, unity, and school spirit everywhere they go. Whether on the sidelines or center stage, their energy will light up every Jaguar game day!
Weâre thrilled to welcome Coach I. Weaver to the Jaguar coaching family! A former baseball player and seasoned coach, he brings a deep knowledge of the game and a passion for athlete development.
Coach Weaver is committed to instilling fundamentals, core values, and a competitive edge while preparing athletes to excel both on the field and in life. Weâre proud to have him join our staff and look forward to the lasting impact heâll make.Â
