2025 Start: 2–0 (including a 21–6 win over rival Ola)
Coach Fisher’s Wildcats have opened 2–0, building on last season’s 5–5 finish—the program’s best under his tenure. A 21–6 rivalry win over Ola headlined the fast start. The defense has taken a clear step forward from last year, setting the tone with energy, discipline, and timely stops.

Program Streak: 15 consecutive state tournament appearances
2025 Outlook: Building on last year with a young nucleus and a strong ninth-grade class that’s already pushing the pace in practice and matches. The group’s ball control and serve pressure continue to be program hallmarks as they chase year 16 at State.
Cross Country

The Wildcats are targeting a big performance at the Henry County Championships on Saturday, Oct 11, 2025, hosted at Locust Grove HS (first gun 8:00 AM). Training volume, pack running, and late-race surges have been points of emphasis as LGHS gears up for October.
