Henry’s best young thespians are featured each year during Henry County School’s Annual Spotlight One-Act Festival.  This honor event is an annual event hosted at one of the HCS performing arts venues. The event showcases one act plays from each participating school.  All of our high schools are invited to participate in this two day honor event giving students real time to work on their craft in an actual theatre.  The students are also able to participate in break out sessions in a variety of areas that may interest them from musical theatre to improvisation.

Spotlight One-Act Festival provides students with opportunities to get additional training and practice in this workshops led by our teachers and experts in their fields.  This exposure and experience is especially important for those students seeking higher education and work in theatre and film.  In addition to individual school productions, students get practice doing mock auditions, resume preparation, and scholarship information.  Please check back here for more information for 2025-2026.
