Folie A Trois

This original show was written, casted, and produced by students from the Dramatic Writing and Technical Theatre classes at the Academy for Advanced Studies. The show was directed by Megan Parker who teaches the Technical Theatre courses.

Here is a note from the director regarding the show's title and origins.

"It's a variation on 'Folie A Duex,' meaning a madness shared between two. This play depicts madness shared between three: a ruthless grandmother and the twin girls that she's raised in her image. It begs us to consider the questions: What elements of society and out upbringing have we blindly accepted? What delusions might we be participating in, even if unbeknownst to us? It is my hope that this play makes you consider what's real what's magic, and what ideas you might need to challenge."
